Temporary and Regular Part-Time CDL Bus Operator Positions
The City of Macomb, Illinois is currently seeking applications to fill temporary and regular part time CDL Bus Operator positions in the Public Transportation Department. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver’s license. A Class B CDL license with passenger endorsement is required within 180 days of employment.
The CDL Bus Operator is responsible for providing public transportation to the general public and disabled individuals certified under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) utilizing fixed routes within the City of Macomb. Evening and weekend availability needed.
The salary range for the CDL Bus Operator position is $18.08/hr. to $24.10/hr. For individuals that do not have a CDL at the time of hire, the non-CDL pay rate would apply until the CDL license is obtained. A DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen and background investigation will be required prior to employment. McDonough County residency required.
City of Macomb permanent part-time benefits include pro-rated vacation/personal/holiday pay and IMRF retirement benefits.
