Part-Time Janitor – City of Macomb, IL
The City of Macomb is hiring a Regular Part-Time Janitor (Grade 12) to help maintain
cleanliness across multiple city buildings, including the Police Department/E-911 Center, City
Hall, Public Works, and the Transit Center.
Position Details:
• Hourly Pay: $16.07 - $21.42
• Duties Include:
o Cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture
o Emptying trash, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping
o Ordering and restocking cleaning supplies
o Occasional tasks like waxing floors and shampooing carpets

Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Valid Illinois driver’s license
• 1-2 years of building maintenance experience
• Physical ability to bend, climb, and operate cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
