AMBASSADORS
Members represent the Chamber by hosting Business After/Before Hours, attending ribbon cuttings and recruiting new members. The Ambassadors meet the Monday before the 3rd Wednesday of each month, noon in the City Hall Community Room. Application required.
GOVERNMENT AND LEGAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
Members monitor the business community for concerns with zoning and regulation compliance. Members also identify legislative issues of general concern and recommend positions.
HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITEE
Employees and HR professionals from a variety of area businesses and organizations meet to hear from experts on employment laws, regulations and relevant workplace issues. leadership potential of career minded young professionals in preparation to challenge and lead the business community. Committee does not meet on a monthlu basis; however, several lunch and learn opportunities will be available for committee members to attend throughout the year.
TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE
Members encourage efforts to improve all local and regional transportation. They provide leadership and serve as a catalyst in regional transportation development. Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every other month.
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COMMITTEE
This committee focuses on engaging and developing the leadership potential of career-minded young professionals in preparation to challenge and lead the business community. Committee does not meet on a monthly basis; however, several lunch and learn opportunities will be available for committee members to attend throughout the year.
