Established in 1976, Prairie Hills Resource Conservation and Development plans and conducts activities that increases the conservation of natural resources, supports economic development and enhances the environment and standard of living for citizens in local communities. Prairie Hills RCD works in eleven counties within Illinois: Brown, Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Mason, McDonough, Knox, Schuyler, Mercer, and Warren. Also, the City of Washington, Illinois.
