Join the team of helpful people at WIRC!  We are now hiring two Weatherization Assessor/Inspectors: one based in Macomb and another in Galesburg. 
Starting Pay $18.50/hour. Conduct home assessments and inspections for the Illinois Home Weatherization Program to determine how to improve home energy efficiency and safety for qualifying homes.  
 Prepare detailed work orders and enter them into an Energy Audit provided by the State of Illinois.
Provide technical assistance to architectural and mechanical contractors.
Measure and document the effectiveness of the weatherization services after work has been completed.
Experience in the construction trades, computer skills, and the ability to speak fluent Spanish are all pluses, but not required.
The State of Illinois and the Agency will provide an extensive amount of training for this position (overnight travel required, mileage reimbursed by the Agency).
