Spoon River Media, LLC is seeking full time, experienced sales professionals to represent
our radio station and online properties to local businesses in the Macomb and Canton areas.
If you’re outgoing, creative, self-motivated, tenacious, detail-oriented, money motivated, have
at least two years of sales experience and reliable transportation, then we’d like to talk to you
about joining Spoon River Media. Prior media or business to business sales experience is
preferred, but not required. As a member of the Spoon River Media family, you’d be
responsible for building a client list, primarily by developing relationships with the business
community inside and surrounding Hancock, McDonough, and/or Fulton Counties.

As an Account Manager, your daily responsibilities would include:
 Prospecting, developing and cultivating new business for Q98.1, Q98.5, and 94.1BYS.
 Setting up and conducting face-to-face meetings with qualified prospects. 
 Constructing and presenting proposals/contracts to business decision makers that
address their marketing needs. 
 Negotiating business deals and acquiring commitments. 
 Managing relationships with clients. 
 Communicating ongoing contact/sales activities to sales management team.
 Achieving individual monthly and annual sales objectives.
