We are currently accepting applications for a Recovery Specialist I who will assist with the collection of funds on delinquent loan accounts while ensuring all collection efforts comply with federal and state regulations and bank policy. This position is well suited for an individual interested in building a career in loan recovery and risk management within a community banking environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working directly with customers on collection activity for delinquent consumer and small business loan accounts in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
• Communicating with customers professionally and tactfully regarding repayment options
• Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation related to collection activity
• Supporting senior recovery staff with repossession, legal, and recovery processes as assigned
• Monitoring assigned accounts and escalating issues as appropriate
• Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations

• Previous experience in collections, customer service, banking, or a related field preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to remain professional, persistent, and detail-oriented
• Ability to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements
