Energy Services Manager
McDonough Power Cooperative – Macomb, IL

McDonough Power Cooperative (MPC), a member-owned, non-profit electric cooperative, is seeking an Energy
Services Manager to lead member services, communications, marketing, and public relations efforts. This
position plays a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences while supporting the Cooperative’s
strategic goals.

The Energy Services Manager is an in-office, full-time position, located in Macomb, IL. Responsibilities
include overseeing billing, collections, and service operations; managing internal and external communications
across print, digital, and media platforms; coordinating outage and crisis communications; maintaining the
Cooperative’s website and social media; organizing events such as the Annual Meeting and community
outreach; and administering programs including distributed generation, net metering, and the billing round-up
program. This role also supervises staff, supports budgeting and policy initiatives, and serves as a liaison with
community partners and media.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (utility or cooperative experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
• Valid Illinois driver’s license; must pass background and drug/alcohol screening

MPC offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, and a comprehensive benefits
package to include health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability insurances, paid time off, and a
retirement plan.
