Coordinator of Reach Programming and Academic Support Retention Initiatives • Work Department: First Year Advising Center • Class Title/Code: (0055) • Effective Date: Jan 11, 2022 • Responsibilities: Employees at this level work with students in planning and preparation through one-on-one and group settings. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in development and implementation of programmatic efforts related to student success and retention. Coordinator Typically: • Assist students with academic support needs, including (but not limited to) group development, resource sharing, tutoring support, and skill enhancement • Coordinate outreach programming and events related to tutoring support services and academic support needs • Meet directly with students in individual and group settings • Assist with new student programming activities and events • Train, mentor, supervise practicum students and undergraduate students, when appropriate • Assist with marketing and promotions including (but not limited to) social media and outreach materials and websites • Present to students, guest, and alumni • Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • Two (2) years of experience in student programming and/or academic support in a continuing education setting, or any other related field.* *A Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience. • Starting Salary: $2905/mo • Application Deadline: Feb 1, 2022 Employment - Information & Instructions Complete an online.
