Time: Drop off from 8:45am-9:00am, Pick up from 11:45am-12:00pm
Where: Macomb Outreach Center, 2500 East Jackson St.

Monday, July 19
A Skin-tastic Class! Did you know that your skin is the largest organ? Your skin helps regulate your body temperature and keep out germs. In this class we will learn about the different layers of skin and how to take care of this very important organ. We will be making edible skin and a skin care product as well as some other hands on activities. Instructor: Erin Orwig
CHALLENGE TIME! Have you ever watched Minute to Win It challenges on YouTube and thought, “I bet I can do that!”? Join us as we explore some of these challenges. Who can complete the task in time? Who can do the task faster? Be prepared to challenge your mind, body, and patience! Instructor: Velvet Powell
Tuesday, July 20
Art This session will nature as the inspiration to make and create art. Learn some new art techniques and have fun! Instructor: Jamie Kotewa
A Class Tie Dye For Bring your own t-shirt or shorts/pants to tie dye in this class. Student s will learn some fun options for creating different patterns with the dye. Parents/guardians, you might want to send the kids in play clothes this day, because it could get messy! Instructor: Mandy Kreps
Wednesday, July 21
No Bake Treats! This class will make three yummy, no bake treats including brownie batter dip, bugle cones, and a snack mix. Learn to measure and mix to increase your kitchen skills. Instructor: Melissa Koke
Crack the Cookie Caper! There’s been a robbery at the baker – who did it? Students will follow clues, decipher puzzles, and use their thinking caps to solve the mystery. If they can find the culprit, there will be a sweet surprise at the end! Instructors: Andrea Barbknecht and Stephanie Howerter
Thursday, July 22
Science Time This class will have some fun science experiments kids will do on their own and as a class. Kids will be learning about light spectrum, force, and maybe even a little bit of basic chemistry. Instructor: Janet Young
Blow it up with Balloons Balloons are fun at a party, but there’s also a lot of fun experiments that can be done with them. Start working on your lung capacity, because this class will be blowing up a lot of balloons. (And if we need a little help with that, a air compressor will be on hand.) Instructor: Erin Orwig
