7-7:45 a.m. Old Stompin' Ground Runaround In-Person Registration, Alumni House 8 a.m. In-Person Old Stompin' Ground Runaround: 5K Run/1.5 mile walk Take a Run with Us Down Memory Lane! Our in-person race will once again include chip timing technology with live results streamed online and displayed near the finish line. All participants will receive a commemorative Old Stompin' Ground Runaround moisture wicking/dry fit t-shirt. Shower facilities are available at the WIU Spencer Student Recreation Center with a valid ID. Come home and run/walk with us down memory lane! Awards will be given to overall male and female winners, and in male and female age divisions. Age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. Race begins at 8 a.m. at the Alumni House. Registration is $20/person and $10/WIU student and includes a dry fit t-shirt. When ordering your t-shirt, we would recommend sizing down one size. If you register the day of the race, the entry fee is $20/person and shirts will be available as supplies last. Runners/walkers can pick up race packets before the race from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Alumni House on Friday, October 11 or on the day of the race.
