The Special Education Legislative Summit (SELS) is held yearly in
Washington, D.C. Advocates for special education from across the US meet
to learn about federal special education policy and how it affects student
populations. After training, advocates meet with Members of Congress for
their state on Capitol Hill! Advocates push for change and policy that will
best serve our students. This year, WIU has several students who want to be
part of that change! Help fund our trip to D.C. so we can make a difference!
