Local Food Business Workshop Series: Marketing Strategies and Collaborating with Local Government
This free workshop is geared toward small food producers and local food farmers, particularly those who currently or are interested in farming within city or town limits. Topics covered include how to leverage free platforms for marketing your business, social media best practices, navigating local government, and understanding ordinances, zoning, and permits. Speakers are Kristin Terry from the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs at Western Illinois University and John Bannon from the City of Macomb, Illinois.
