Life/Work Balance: Creating a Plan that Works

Intended Audience: School Staff, ROE Staff, and Social Services / Human Services Staff
This interactive workshop not only provides a deeper understanding of what compassion fatigue/burnout is, but will provide all participants with a custom game plan that can be implemented immediately to reduce/prevent compassion fatigue/burnout, increase satisfaction with their career and home life, and learn neurological based and hypnotherapy based techniques from licensed and certified professionals with over 15 years of trauma-based work.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
- Learn covert signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue/burnout
- Reduce shame/guilt felt when self-care is implemented but not followed through
- Identify core values and how they can be utilized in reducing/preventing compassion fatigue/burnout
- Identify support symptoms and behaviors to reduce/prevent compassion fatigue/burnout
- Identify obtainable goals geared towards their personal success
- Learn Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing and Hypnotherapy-based techniques geared towards reducing stress in real-time situations
- Leave with a personalized plan to reduce/prevent compassion fatigue/burnout that can be implemented immediately
