2025 Pennycress Field Day
Join us on Thursday, May 22, 2025, for the 2025 Pennycress Field Day at the Western Illinois University Agriculture Field Laboratory, located north of the Harry Mussatto Golf Course on Tower Road in Macomb, IL.
This free, public event is designed to introduce the new winter annual crop Field Pennycress to local producers. Researchers and industry representatives will share insights and research progress on this unique short-season crop, with field tours and live demonstrations.
🕘 Agenda:
• 9:00–10:00 a.m. – Networking (coffee, juice, snacks, donuts)
• 10:00–10:30 a.m. – Update from previous growing season, live demos
• 10:30–12:00 p.m. – Field tour of research plots (some walking required)
• 12:00–1:30 p.m. – Lunch provided

👟 Note: Wear appropriate footwear for walking in research fields. A people mover will be available for longer distances.
