DESCRIPTION:Western Illinois University will celebrate U.S. Constitution Day at 11 a.m. on Sept. 18 in the University Union Brattain Lounge with a poster session and panel discussion.\n\n\n\nThe event is hosted by WIU Centennial Honors College in collaboration with WIU's Department of Political Science. This year's event highlights the value of voting for U.S. citizens.\n\n\n\n"It is necessary for citizens to understand the significance of their vote in all elections\," WIU Political Science office manager Cynthia Arnett said.
