SUMMARY:SCA Lunch and Learn Book/Film Club
DESCRIPTION:The Shared Community Action Group is ready to launch our Lunch and Learn Book/Film Club. \n\n\n\nWe envision monthly discussions that revolve around a short film or video\, a book\, or a live  presentation that will spark interest in how we can sharpen our communication skills through a  greater appreciation of 1) the innate dignity of each and every person we encounter\, and 2) the  value of attuned listening\, empathic speaking\, and ongoing engagement with our world. \n\n\n\nYou and your members are invited to join other participants for the first meeting of the SCA  Lunch and Learn Book/Film Club from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday\, August 11\, 2021. We  will be meeting in person in the Community Room of City Hall\, but masks will be required and  social distancing observed. Bring your own lunch and prepare to share your perspectives and  insights.  \n\n\n\nWe will show a 20-minute video to focus our discussion during this first meeting and take a few  minutes to cover logistics for future meetings.  \n\n\n\nQuestions?
