DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, April 24\, Western Illinois University alumni and friends from around the world will come together as one Leatherneck family for our annual Purple & Gold Day Celebration/Western Challenge to celebrate the date on April 24\, 1899 when the Illinois Legislature approved the creation of what would become WIU.\n\n\n\nSubmit your photo or video showing your support of Leathernecks everywhere to A-Association@wiu.edu by April 24.\n\n\n\nMacomb Purple & Gold Day Event\n\nWednesday\, April 24\n\nTime: 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.\n\nLocation: Sports Corner @ 124\, 124 N. Randolph St.\n\nMacomb\, IL\n\n\n\nComplimentary appetizers while they last and cash bar (pay by cash or credit).\n\n\n\nAll guests will receive a free ticket for door prize drawings throughout the night.\n\n\n\nThe Western Challenge\n\n\n\nThe 'Necks' Big Thing\n\n\n\nWhen the Leatherneck community unites\, there is no limit to what we can achieve for our students.\n\n\n\nOn April 24\, join the Leatherneck community of alumni\, friends\, faculty\, staff\, parents\, and students as we unite in giving to support the departments\, scholarships\, and causes most meaningful to us at Western Illinois University.\n\n\n\nOne.
