SUMMARY:Professional Development Workshops with Jude Kiah
DESCRIPTION:Session I: Millennials (born 1981-1996) were confusing to their workplaces. They didn't have the same work values as the previous generations. Just as the workplace began to adjust to them\, Generation Z (born after 1997) entered the workplace with even more confusing work values. How do we lead a workforce with 5 generations (Z\,Y\,X\, Boomers\, Greatest) all at the same time? We will discuss the differences in Generation Y and Z and how they think about work and the workplace. Registration includes a free catered lunch from 12:00-1:30pm!\n\n\n\nFee: $25.00 includes lunch following the session.\n\nAges: 18 and up\n\n\n\nSession II: In the past younger workers stayed at jobs for at least 2 years but those times have now changed. Moving forward it can be very challenging to recruit and retain workers in such a varied workplace. Sometimes it makes you wonder\, can it be done? What do we lean into in order to reduce turnover costs and to find a way to keep our workforce happy? Within this session you will learn about how leadership\, understanding\, and positive work values can make you successful. Registration includes a free catered lunch from 12:00-1:30pm!\n\n\n\nFee: $25.00 includes Lunch before the session.\n\nAge: 18 and up
