DESCRIPTION:The Macomb Police Department announces events for the National Faith & Blue weekend\, October 7-10\, 2022.  Faith & Blue Weekend is a national event with activities in communities across the country that bring together law enforcement and residents to build connections\, create mutual understanding\, and enhance justice and reconciliation. The goal is to create safer and stronger communities by connecting law enforcement officers and the residents they protect and serve.\n\nThis year marks the first year that the Macomb Police Department will participate in the weeklong event. We are excited to partner with several faith-based organizations within our community to strengthen our relationships.\n\nThe following events are planned for the Macomb PD Faith & Blue Weekend: \n\nWednesday\, October 5\n\n                7:30am-9:00am\n\n                Late Start Breakfast at Youth for Christ with Jr/Sr High school students\n\nFriday\, October 7\n\n                7:30am-8:00am\n\n                Greet students at drop-off\n\n                11:00am-12:30pm\n\n                Pizza lunch at Youth for Christ with Jr/Sr High school students\n\nSaturday\, October 8\n\n                3:00pm-4:00pm                \n\n                Drop off Personal Care items at University Baptist Church\n\nSunday\, October 9\n\n                12:00pm-12:30pm\n\n                Collect Emergency Cupboard items at First Christian Church\n\nFor more information on National Faith & Blue Weekend\, please visit www.faithandblue.org.
