DESCRIPTION:The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is so provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent\, recognize\, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies\, injuries\, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Participants need to have a current lifeguard certification\, or it can't be expired for more than 30 days prior to the course start date. This is a blended learning course which will consist of online and in person training. \n\n\n\nWe have 10 slots available for this session. Registration closes as soon as the slots are filled or by May 1\, 2025. \n\n\n\nInstructor: Nick Knowles\, CEO of YMCA (American Red Cross LGI).
