DESCRIPTION:All LGBT+ members and allies are welcome to attend an LGBT+ Empowerment Group in Macomb hosted by Western Illinois Regional Council - Community Action Agency (WIRC-CAA) Victim Services. Becky Cox-Medina\, Domestic Violence Legal Advocate\, and Brittany Schisler\, Sexual Assault Children's Counselor\, formed the group to provide a place for support\, resources\, and conversation in a safe and confidential setting. Beverages and snacks will be provided. For more information about the event\, or to speak to a counselor\, please call Victim Services' free and confidential 24-hour hotline at 309-837-5555. WIRC-CAA Victim Services\, based in Macomb\, provides free and confidential services in a safe environment with knowledgeable staff members who are ready to provide emergency services\, advocacy\, counseling\, professional training\, and public education.
