SUMMARY:Downtown Revitalization Workshop: Project Development from Start to Finish
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will walk through developing a project beginning with acquiring a site or building and ending with opening the doors.  Experienced developers\, city staff\, financiers\, public funding experts and others will be your guides as you outline an approach for your own project.  Participants should come with a specific project in mind that could either be developed by their organization or that their organization could assist a developer in completing.  Each participant will leave with a completed worksheet for how to approach each step in the development process.\n\n\n\nThis seminar is presented by Illinois Main Street\, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity\, and the Center for Governmental Studies at Northern Illinois University.  Workshop participants will receive up to 5 Continuing Education Units from Northern Illinois University.  \n\nSeating is limited.\n\n\n\nONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
